Environmental drilling is most commonly used to obtain soil or water samples for further analysis. Monitor wells or Piezometers are installed to allow for ongoing monitoring of a site.

Brown Bros has two approved environmental drilling methods: Geoprobe Direct Push and Hollow Stem Augers. These methods are the most acceptable systems as minimal waste is produced, no drilling additives are required and relatively small and un-intrusive drilling rigs are used.

High environmental standards

Brown Bros is committed to meeting the highest environmental standards to ensure the integrity of your results. All drilling equipment including rigs, hand tools, augers and samplers are decontaminated prior to mobilizing to all environmental projects.

Drilling equipment can be decontaminated between each hole to prevent cross-contamination.
