Graeme A. Brown, General Manager

Graeme A. Brown Technical Skills
Graeme is the Managing Director of Brown Bros Ltd with a lifetime of experience in the drilling industry as a Driller, Supervisor and Manager.

Graeme's areas of technical expertise include;
  • Hard rock mine exploration
  • Municipal and irrigation bores
  • Large de-watering & re-injection bores
  • Energy-related drilling
  • Multi rig seismic investigation
  • Large & small scale Geotechnical & Environmental investigation.
Graeme is experienced in all drilling methods, including Rotary Mud Flush, Down Hole Hammer, Reverse Circulation, and Wireline Coring.

Management Skills
Graeme has been the Managing Director of Brown Bros Ltd for 30 years. Responsible for its growth and position of pre-eminence in NZ drilling, his ability to motivate and manage a close-knit team for both the company and the client has proved invaluable.

A key asset is Graeme's experience, which helps ensure optimal performance from his drilling crews. Graeme is based in Hamilton, with site input as required.

Nathan R. Brown, Operations Manager / Hydrogeologist - B.Sc.

Nathan R. Brown Technical Skills
Nathan is a driller and the company's Hydrogeologist with 11 years industry experience in all major drilling applications and methods. He specialises in large scale Water Bores and Pump testing.

It is important to stay ahead of the competition. To facilitate this, Nathan regularly undertakes off-site technical training to remain at the forefront of technical developments in the industry.

Management Skills
Nathan has excellent drilling Project Management skills with a focus on technical performance. He manages the company's Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental Systems.

Kelly G. Brown, Driller

Kelly G. Brown Technical Skills
Kelly has seven years experience as a drill operator, working his way up from being a trainee to a permanent driller.

Kelly has experience in various applications including;
  • Water bores
  • Quarry exploration
  • Geotechnical and Environmental investigations
  • Energy drilling

Management Skills
Kelly's management training has provided him with the tools to excel in day to day management of both the drill site and sub-contractors.
